Warm Wine

My good friend Jessi made this little scarf for the neck of the wine bottle she gave me for Christmas. So cute and clever! She also asked me to design a coupon out of a little poem she wrote. What a great gift idea! (wish it was mine ;)

Parrots in Print

My Parrots have been featured in People magazine this week. So Snazzy!

I whipped up this printer cover out of left over fabric from my headboard and ribbon from my necklace. Now I can stash it away without it getting dusty.

I have to share this because I'm too excited not to. My parrots are famous! Worn by Zoey Deschanel and Melissa McCarthy this season on CBS and Fox. BedHead put out these fun pajamas printed with the parrot pattern I designed. They are for sale here! 

Decoupage Pumpkins

I'm not a big fan of carving pumpkins (too messy and they fall apart quickly). So I wanted to try something new. I saw some beautiful decoupaged pumpkins here and needed to try it. I printed out a couple fall patterns I designed and mod podged them into place. I think they turned out pretty. It was also a lot of fun and really easy. I'm hoping they will last longer too. I recommend getting pumpkins with good size stems (they look a lot nicer :)

Before & After

I found two huge end tables out for the trash and decided to give them a makeover! The tops of the tables have their original finish, I painted the legs with Coastal Dusk, and the shelf with chalkboard paint. The chalkboard paint is great for allowing the style of the tables to be flexible. Easy to erase, you can change up the look of these pieces instantly. (I couldn't help myself... I had to draw flowers on them!) I think they would be perfect for a beach house, a basement playroom, or if you like changing up the style of a room often these will fit in perfectly. DIY Necklace

Forever21 has some great jewelry for very cheap. The only problem is the chains are a little too short for my taste. Solution: ribbon! Luckily I had some thin black ribbon that I simply sewed each end to the clasps of the necklace and then tied them together adding length to the necklace quickly, easily and cheaply!

Paradise or New Jersey?
